Arty Fragrance by Elisabeth de Feydeau

Arty Fragrance by Elisabeth de Feydeau is a brand of exclusive fragrances that draws inspiration from the French refinement, beautifully exemplified at Versailles. Historian and perfume expert Elisabeth de Feydeau has created a line of scented candles based on ancient texts and using the noblest ingredients in perfumery. They recreate the atmosphere of 17 and 18th-century France, drifting between tradition and modernity.

The two collections bring to mind the legendary places, the great figures of Versailles and the prestige of the Chateau de Versailles in the time of kings.

Alcove Royale Candle Massage Candle 200gm

The recipe for "triple-vanilla chocolate with ambergris” won over Louis XV, who made it a ritual and love potion that he shared with his favourite, Madame de Pompadour. She had a secret weakness: in the royal chamber, she was not a great lover. The love potion she shared with the King was a "triple-vanilla chocolate with ambergris", an aphrodisiac popular with Libertines that awakened the senses. Served with its macaroon perfumed with musk, this thick and sensual elixir was as sweet as it was aphrodisiac. Notes: Absolute of Cocoa, Vanilla Bourbon and Ambergris

Arty Fragrance Jardins et Bosquets Candle 180gm

Box-tree and jasmine star in this candle, bringing to mind these enchanted niches of royal power. The quintessential flower from Grasse in the 18th century, jasmine has an intense and captivating trail that has made it the legendary essence of perfumery. It is teamed here with the scent of box-tree with dew drops.

Barocko Candle 180gm

These warm, sensual tones are for Louis XIV, the young dancer, who performed at the sumptuous parties of the " Plaisirs de l’Île enchantée ”. This candle reveals the king as seductive and absolute and express the " Plaisirs de l’Ile Enchantée ”, the sumptuous parties given in 1664 in honor of his young, 20-year old mistress, Louise de La Vallière. Notes: Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Neroli and Leather Notes
